Wisdom Enterprise recently hosted a consultative workshop on April 19, 2024, in relation to the project contracted with Amhara Industry Park Development Corporation (AIPDC). The workshop focused on the draft report titled "Design of Preliminary Wastewater Treatment Process Layout & Effluent Limit Guideline Preparation for Agro-processing Industries at Bure Integrate Agro Industry Park," which was presented by Wisdom Enterprise.
Mengiste Abate (PhD), the CEO of Wisdom Enterprise, delivered a welcome speech to the attendees, including client personnel and experts from various stakeholders, emphasizing the significant effort invested by the enterprise's experts to develop an actionable solution for the agro-processing industries.
Mr. Kidane Misikir, Deputy CEO of AIPDC, initiated the consultative workshop by highlighting the role of universities in conducting community-based professional engagements to address industrial challenges, commending Wisdom Enterprise and their partnership with AIPDC. The project manager, Eng. Tilik Tena, provided an overview of the progress made thus far to the workshop participants.
The experts expressed their appreciation for the work accomplished and offered feedback. During the discussions, it was noted that Wisdom Enterprise's experts demonstrated an innovative and cutting-edge approach to addressing waste management issues. Furthermore, it was acknowledged that the project was ahead of schedule, showcasing the dedicated efforts of Wisdom Enterprise as a university-owned entity.
The enterprise experts conveyed their commitment to continue the work and complete it within a short timeframe. They also expressed their intention to organize a final workshop involving various industry stakeholders to present the finalized outcomes of the project.
